My true prince is coming
Soon, for all to see
His voice will rend the Heavens
As He rides to Earth for me

In breathless expectation
I ache for that day
And all creation shares my longing
To be perfectly remade

His eyes flaming with desire
His passion freeing me
I’ll be finally perfected
All He planned for me to be

Until that day I wait for Him
I work and serve and love
Trusting my Love to mold me
Yielding to his gentle touch

I hang upon His every word
My love letter is worn
When I see him face to face
I’ll be no longer torn

When the cares of this life
Are stripped away
And I see His face in
The full light of day

My true prince is coming
Soon, for all to see
His voice will rend the Heavens
As He rides to Earth for me

Thanks Debbie for the comment on the poem of mine “Lasting Love.” I loved this poem so much. That will be a day like none this world has ever witnessed. I know that many are not looking for him, but I can tell by your fantastic poem that just as I am, so are you.

It's most comforting to know that He's coming... even more comforting to know that He adores us. Good job!
