All my life
I've dreamed of you
and how our life would be.
Romantic visions
filled my mind
I wished you could only see.

By the grace of God
we finally met.
I could hardly speak.
As your angelic voice
whispered hello,
a tear rolled down my cheek.

You are my sun,
my golden light
which brightens my lonely day.
The wind beneath
my open arms
like the willow I begin to sway.

You are my Sea,
my gentle wave
caressing my sandy shore.
Rinsing through
my pains of past
while washing them out the door.

These are the things
I wish to say
when that moment comes along.
Yet till my sun
casts its golden light
I'll sing my lonely song.

Your writing reminds me of the character on Message from a Bottle. I don't know if you saw that movie, but the man wrote sweet, captivating poetry.
