A storm may rise, to blow a gale,
Across the tossing sea.
But our love it shall no fail,
So I’ll take it there with me.
So whether we're together,
Or whether we're apart.
My love just grows a little more,
It’s anchored in my heart.
To the stars that rule the night,
And the twilight of the moon.
There could never be another,
For there is not any room.
If I should get lost at sea,
And death would come my way.
In death I would still love you,
For love cannot pass away.
Life may toss us to and fro,
And mountains seem to grow.
But that won’t change my love for you,
It’s anchored in my soul.
