I’ll always remember that day, my friend.
And I promise I’ll never forget.
It was fate when we saw each other this time,
because it’s the second time we’ve met.

To think I’d meet you again someday,
I never had a clue, or a sign.
But I’m very happy and grateful to say:
I met you, my cute valentine.

My emotions are lifted when you are around.
And I haven’t felt this way in awhile.
Because this is a great feeling you see.
Every time I think of you, I smile.

You’ve been funny, flirty: a joy to my heart.
Your wit, an added attraction.
Our friendship has made a wonderful start.
Because this time we took action.

So, I’m telling you the truth, my friend.
You’ve caused my spirit to lift.
I’m so glad that we met each other again.
Because our friendship is a wonderful gift.
