Heavenly Father,

As I consider the horrors of conflict, war and famine,
Yet Thou hast clothed, nourished and sheltered me
I bow my heart in gratitude

- For I am blessed -

When I observe the moral and social decline of society
And trace Thy loving, preserving hand throughout my life
More than ever I realize,

- That I am blessed -

But with this blessing
Comes great responsibility.
Oh God, I humbly acknowledge
That at times I am lukewarm,
And lack consistency.

Help me to remember that I am duty bound
To live a sacrificial life.
Daily presenting my body to Thee
For service.

For I have been blood bought
And am not my own.
May I be dead to self
And alive to Thee.

Heavenly Father
Take this vessel and fill it.
Give me a heart like unto Thine,
That my life may be one of service
And blessing to others.
