Atoms stir within an ancient boundless force. Trees, flowers and grassy plants reach toward heaven in earnest obedience to their Creator, content to saliently perform the duty for which they were created. A sparrow’s song, borne not of circumstance, though poor or fair, pierces the morning stillness and echoes the Breath of Life. God’s smile, revealed when two cells find union through a process that seems most absurd and yet, beautiful, is reflected in the face of my sleeping child.
Stars outnumbering sand granules sparkle in a gaseous atmosphere in a minute section of the universe. With immeasurable mathematical congruity the sun rises and sets as the earth spins upon its axis. Ocean waves bow rhythmically to the tides constant whimsy while the moon orchestrates the dance. Changing seasons reflect the promise of time eternal and grace perfected.
To encapsulate this ballet of life in a word requires a song that I do not yet know how to sing but merely know the tune. If I had to form sounds that describe the joy of knowing Him, there would escape from myself rejoicing in praise to the One who has my name carved within His palms and spreads them out each day to wrap His arms around me.
I dwell within His presence and therein I rejoice.
