Yesterday a few men were going around the neighborhood, searching for a missing twelve year old. What a distressing time for them, they gave his descritption, came by later with a flyer of him. At this point he had been missing for two days. We all imagined many circumstances that could have occurred. I e-mailed our prayer chain, last night my family held, this youth and family up in prayer. Amazing results this afternoon, when the father and his son came ,to have his son admit what he did.
We all felt our spirit’s rejoicing for this reunion. The sign of relief on the father’s face was a blessing to us all. The son looked ashamed of what he had done to his family, and the neighborhood in search of him. I do pray this youth life, will be restored, and may he be drawn to the Lord, through this life event. We are still praying for the seventeen year old, who rampaged our neighborhood last month. He is still in a youth correctional facility.
I did get my cordless phone returned, a little battered up, but still operational. When I think of these two youths, the story of the “Prodigal Son” comes to mind. My heart is rejoicing in the power of the Lord. To see the mighty wonders at work daily in our lives. With father passing away, early in his life, my brother’s and father didn’t this chance to reunite. There is rejoicing in the process of forgivness, and timely healing of this loss for them.
I personally feel the I’ve been a “Prodigal Daughter”, which is returning to my heavenly father. Through all sexual abuse in my childhood, I acted out for a very long while. Yes and I too ran away a few times in my youth. Wanting escape the environment of abuse. It has taken many years, intense counseling and loving and compassionate mentor’s to bring back around again.
I’m rejoicing today that the Lord has saved for a definite purpose, which unfolding in my life daily. He has equipped me with life experiences, and creative spiritual gifts. The plant the seed, in what every circumstance arises daily. To share with people going through difficult life trials. That they to can have a life of rejoicing, by admitting their sins, repenting of their transgressions, and asking Jesus into their lives. Also referring to appropriate scripture passages. To give them proper guidance and life direction.
As well a follow up life plan to implement in their daily lives. This youth and his father reuniting will have lasting impression on my life. It is has if the bible story, the “Prodigal Son” was coming to life, before my very eyes. The Lord not gives us word picture’s, to understand scripture, but places real life stories before us daily. This has definitely made my heart filled with song and praise’s, and I can continue my day rejoicing in the power of the Lord.
My son has returned to me, you could just see this in the youth’s, father’s eyes I’m fully rejoicing he is home again. We will never know the reason, this youth ran away from. Only the Lord knows all the details. We can pray for their reconciliation to a good one. There are so many family abuse cases in Alaska. The system is over loaded; it can’t reach all these needs, in our society. My dedication is to be in servitude, to the Lord Jesus Christ. To extend my hand to others, and to pray for a family revival in our society. Especially for our upcoming generation. That they can carry the legacy of life rejoicing. Through the giving of there love’s to the Lord, and to be good a faithful servants, to our ailing society. So whenever we see a son, or a daughter falling away from our family unit. We can demonstrate, intergrety, good morale values, and good spiritual leadership.
Which will bring a lost son,or lost daughter, or other family members back home. Rejoicing is available for all who seek it’s path. Through the returning to God’s heavenly Son,Jesus Christ our infinte holy Lord. Life blessing’s to all, may we all spring forth, with and rejoicing heart and spirit. To bring the lost souls home. To their heavenly father, also to their earthy father’s too.
Everything in life comes in a full circle. May a spirit of rejoicing, come in a full circle to us all.
