Topic: Hunger (11/08/04)

TITLE: The infilling of my spirit Daily
By Deborah Shepard

Through all my current trials, and tribulation going on in and around me daily. I hunger for the living waters of life, through reading scripture daily. There is not enough food, which can infill my spirit. This only fills up the physical need. Many things have happened since writing my last article. Intense family matters, health up and downs, which will drain ones spirit. Unless I keep the hunger feeling, there for the houers, and times in prayer and meditation. Also keep my hunger for the Lordís holy teachingís. I have a medical condition, with a digestive problem, I can only eat small meals many times a day.

There is a divine blessing through this; my weight will not sky rocket, and also the side benefits. Will be no high colesterol,or high blood pressure, etc. I really donít feel extreme hunger for food. The Lord knows what I needed so he greatly supplied me with sufficient needs. A lot of my family and friends are concerned for me. I reassure them Iím fully taken care of in that area. Lately Iíve seen the hunger, for life guidance, with family and friends. This give an opportunity to share how to appease the spirtual hunger needed.

Iíve been witnessing to them about, my spiritual hunger is satisfied. Through my life changing experiences. The process Iíve been through to achieve this state of being. Through our churchís faithful prayer warriorís, be have witnessed many peoples, spritual hunger being fed. Our church is growing raidly. Alaska is filled with many people, with spiritual hunger. I have heard recently, we have one of the highest crime across the nation. So this apparent how many souls hunger, for a life changing experience. I always try to keep in mind, whenever hosting a meal, are the spirits be filled, as well as the stomach.

My family reconciliation is coming along well, due to filling the spiritual hunger. The fruitís of the spirit, can infill the spirits hunger? The infilling of the Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus infilling our heart and soul. I really believe this is why all my medical tests have been very good recently. I pray daily for all the people around the world who are living in hunger. It touches my heart to know the are a vast amount of missionaries, going into theses places of starvation. Our church is very big on supporting our missionaries.

The Lord hasnít chosen me to go abroad, he has used me in the boundaries, of family and friends. To take the ďGreat CommissionĒ, this so healing to me my health is getting stronger each year. This appeaserís my spiritual hunger daily. I live daily infilling my spirit, with the fruitís of the spirit. I love being a faith writer, sharing my lifeís innermost spiritual growing, with all of you. Happy Thanks Giving, to all of my brothers and sisterís of faith. I will only be eating small portions, of this festive holiday meal upcoming. I will enjoy just as much, as if eating too much at one sitting.

All the preparations, which will go into this holiday feast, will well worth it. So as the infilling of my spirit in the nourishment through the Holy Scripture. My birthday is one day before Thanks Giving, so this will be a combined celebration for me. A family will have his birthday three before the holiday feast. So we have decided to combine our yearly celebration, also our church is having a holiday feast in between. This will be a very festive time for all of us.

I wish all you lifeís blessings, the joyous holiday ever, Shall the light of the light encompass you and yours each new day. I would to share these two scripture passages with all of you. In (Psalms 8-9 NIV), (Verse 8) Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love. (Verse 9) For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. What a wonderful thing to write on the tablest of our hearts, and infill the hunger of ones spirit. God bless each and everyone of you, on this blessed Thanks Giving.

I am sorry about your health problem, Deborah, but the Lord is doing a good job for you. You sound so positive and upbeat that you seem well on the way to recovery with all your activity in the church. Blessings.

Thank you for sharing. You have much to tell of God's miraculous sustenance. Many are hungering to hear how God provides for those who put their trust in Him. God needs people such as you to tell their stories that boosts the faith of the believers. Thanks cyndy
