Back before the creation of the heavens and the earth, the Heavenly Council met, as was their custom. Because of the magnanimity of the Triune God, in addition to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, there were three privileged positions which were being filled by created beings. They were three archangels: Gabriel the Messenger, Michael the Warrior, and, most prestigious, Lucifer the Worship and Praise Leader. Only the members of the Godhead had power to vote; but the archangels could have a say, and the Triune God listened.

As agreed upon earlier, the Triune God created the heavens and the earth, all that populated them including mankind, and, for the benefit of these newly created beings, time. Night, day, and seasons were birthed.

Simultaneously, up in Heaven, the archangels were faithfully fulfilling their duties—each leading their legions of angels through their practice sessions. One could never be too good for the Godhead. Now, mind you, everything the Triune God created was total perfection.

Second in rank only to the Triune God was archangel Lucifer. As the Lord God describes him, he was “the seal of perfection; full of wisdom and perfect in beauty… every precious stone was [his] covering; …the workmanship of [his] timbrels and pipes were prepared for [him] pm the dau [he] was created.” (Ezekiel 28:13, NKJV)

As goes the old adage, “The prouder you become of yourself, the harder your fall.” Can you see it?....

Archangel Lucifer hovered over his legions of angels, with his wings fluttering and his arms gracefully gliding in proper movement for directing all worship and praise unto the Triune God.

One day it seemed to come forth in even greater perfection; which ultimately led to the concept of insult—being insulted. The worship and praise were so great, Lucifer switched his focus from the Triune God to the rendition of worship and praise. Almost instantly his attention became centered on his own beauty and capabilities. Forgetting all about the Great Creator and that he was only a creation, he began feeling very insulted!

“My, you’re good! What beauty!” he exclaimed as he focused on his flowing arms and wings. “Enough is enough! Something has to be wrong with this set-up, this dead-end job that never changes. No one gives me the proper recognition! How long must I continue being so insulted?

“Well, this is the end!” He went on and said in his heart (to which the Triune God always had access):

“I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the fartherest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:13-14, NKJV)

The rest is history regarding Lucifer a.k.a. Satan. But what is so awesome is that the Satanic Rebellion with the key to initiating the unfolding of HIS STORY—“of the Lamb Who was slain” (Rev. 5:6, 13, NKJV) and “the names written in the Book of Life from the foundations of the world.” (Rev.17:8, NKJV).

We will never be the Lord Most High. But even Satan’s throwing in his heaviest artillery cannot thwart us from becoming Christlike, God’s Children; Joint Heirs with Jesus!

“Away, Satan! This is not something to make me get puffed up about. There is and never will be anyone nor anything to equal the Lord Most High—God of Grace and Glory!”

The Bible gives us such brief glimpses of Satan's fall, that the story has always been tantalizing to me. I feel like a dummy, but I'm not familiary with the word "Triune," so I stumbled over that, but otherwise I enjoyed your very creative rendition. Thanks!
