It‘s just plain fun to create; especially with some one else at our side. Perhaps it was making caterpillars from egg cartons, kites from newspaper and sticks. Maybe in your house, Mom and the kids made gingerbread houses for Christmas or Dad woke up with red fingers after a night of colored eggs for Easter. Yep we did them all too. It was just plain fun.

We had a plan what to do, but when the silliness got ahead of the task, it wasn’t work, it was family time… and it was almost as much fun cleaning up as it was making the mess. I like to think the Father, Son and Holy Spirit had some kind of fun when they were making lots of ‘somethings’ out of nothing.

Come on. Do you really believe Father God didn’t smile wide when he heard the hyena laugh? Can you imagine what Jesus thought when the Spirit moved over the waters and the duck billed platypus crawled out? Was Jesus teasing the Spirit when the kangaroo first boxed? Who got squirted in the eye when “Old Faithful” proved… faithful?

Design is just a reflection of the heart. They must have had an awful lot of fun during family time.

Allen, that was sweet. Brought a smile to my face - especially "Old Faithful"!

This is so cool!!! I love to speculate on what God was thinking when He created different things.

I liked your perspective on design. God does have a sense of humor, after all, he made us didn't he?

I like to think of me as a reflection of the Desiner's heart. A delight!

what a joyful article! I imagine he rolls with laughter ... or at least I hope he does...when he see me sometimes!
