So the Lord said "I will wipe out mankind,whom I have created from the face of the earth-men and animals,and creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air for I am grieved that I have made them.(Genesis 9:7 NIV)
This a very profound passage of the Lord's,discouragement of men and creatures in Noah's time.While studing and researching this story of Noah's Ark,I felt a sense awesome wonder of this biblical event.The Lord's magnificent spectacluar design for Noah to build,for the sole purpose of the people the Lord had chosen.To repopulate the earth,and every animal by pairs, to go forth and mulitply.
The perfect design plan of building this massive vessel.In the scripture passages in(Genesis 13-18 NIV)The perfect wood of cypress,the rooms coated with pitch inside and out.Imagine a vessel demensions of 450 ft long,75 ft. wide, 45 ft. wide.(verse 16)Make a roof for it and finish the ark within 18 in. of the top,put a door in the side of the ark and make a lower,middle, and upper decks.
I can only imagine what grand site the building of this vessel.When I was reading these passages os scrpiture.I felt an sense of inner peace and spirtual calm.To be encouraged and soul inspired,when I have faithful,and spiritual alignment with my daily obedience to the Lord's calling for me.So I will be awaiting the things he will place in my life,to grow and develop my daily walk with him.Noah's story of his,
heart and soul and being a faithful,servant to the Lord's calling.
But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord(Genesis 9:8 NIV)I pray that in my daily walk in my life,the Lord will find favor with also.What a miraclous design for Noah's Ark,he never questioned his calling to building the ark.What a glorious testimony of Noah's calling of the beginning of the new covenant with the Lord.What a great story to write on the tablets of my heart and soul.I pray this story with bring a thought of peace and joy to behold.
