He can satisfy my every need, but do I let him?
He provides the food and air I breath, but do I thank Him?

He gave me life, and life again, but I have I lived it?
According to the rules Heís set with faith and love, committed.

When Iím hurt He heals my pain, do I take His cure for granted?
Forgetting, oh so quickly, that I prayed for what Iíd been handed.

Heís designed me with His perfect hand, still I am discontent.
Iíve complained about His workmanship and change what Iíve been sent.

Heís loved me when Iím unlovable and hears my heartís desires.
But when Iíve received His blessing do I cast them to the fire?

Will I ever be content, faithful, true and pure?
No oneís ever done for me the things He has before.

My soul is tainted from the past but Heís made it good and true.
So I can spend eternity and be satisfied through and through.

This is very good. I usually don't comment on poetry, since I'm so hard to please when it come to this genre, but this is good. The flow is a little rough, and it could have used a less safe ending, but the content is terrific.

Thanks for posting this.

Wendy,
Such a nice poem! The content is great, offering so much truth as to how we can often think. Do I sense a new found love in poetry for you?
