A tiny baby knows a tear
Will bring a caring nanny,
A toddler knows his crying eyes
Will often get him candy.
A teenager’s rather certain
That her tears will break her daddy
A young lady’s very much aware
Her tears drive boyfriends batty.
A bride’s tears just cannot compare
To the tears her mom is crying,
And hospitals mop up countless tears
From bedsides of the dying.
But regardless of how we use them,
One thing is for certain,
Our God can see and feel our tears,
And He knows when we’re hurtin.’
