Give all that you have to those less fortunate.
When you do this leave the trumpets at home.
Don't let the left, know what the right is doing.
If you point a finger to yourself, there is your reward,
But give in secret then the Father will reward.

Humble yourself as you pray, without words none understand.
When doing this sit down below the Lord.
Our father, Kingdom Come, deliver us from the evil one.
Street corner saviour receives their reward in full.
Forgive us as our Father forgives us, receive your reward.

When seeking the will of God do not cry to Him so others hear.
When doing this keep the ashes burning away.
Wash your face, a smile will show how you truly feel.
Don't somber to people pat your back, for there is your reward.
Keep it between you and God, He will give you full reward.

I liked the line about leaving the trumpet at home!

A great poem about living for God and having the right attitude, when praying and doing good deeds. Do it all for God's glory not our own. Well done.
