Behold
By Monique Nicole Fox

Christian is Godís gift
He is a healthy and handsome baby boy
The sunshine of my life
And a bundle of joy

Christian is Godís present
From above
He is my earthy angel
Who I really and truly love

Christian is Godís blessing to me
Knowing and mothering him
Has been simply heavenly

Christian is Godís reward
To a endometriosis sufferer
Cause pregnancy can be hard

Christian is Godís answer to my prayer
Delivered straight from God
With tender loving care

------

Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. ~Psalm 127:3 NAS~

Thank God for your gift, your present, your reward, your blessing and answer to your prayer, delivered straight from God. Thank God for Christian. Blessings to you.

Such a great reminder of the reward our children are! Thanks.

Monique, this was such a sweet entry on the "Reward" theme. Reading that you were an endometriosis sufferer makes him an even greater blessing. Praise God. Just a reminder though ... to be included in the Editors' Choice challenges you need to make sure that your word count is over 150 words (not including Scriptures). This piece is just 80 or so words. Even a little introduction from you would keep your sweet poems from being disqualified. With love, Deb

I liked your introductory line to each stanza - God's answer was a nice one. it is something to remember when Christian grows up and has moments that test you!
