The exam period in the secondary schools in Nigeria are period of discipline. Unnecessary extra-curricular activities are minimized, frivolity is put aside as intensive reading and seriousness are lifted high. Everywhere you look, you see students scuttle around with bent heads and stock of books under their arms. The reason? Its exam time!
Alas, there is one issue this kind of exam reminds me of - the trials of life. Trials times are periods of training and of pain. But, just like the school exams, trials and tests, when handled rightly with the help of the Spirit of God can bring out Yahweh’s best in us.
A believer that succeeds or triumphs in temptation is a great man in the sight of God. Hence, we can call life’s trials and test The Spiritual Exams of Believers.
Despite these benefits, I, for one must confess that I hate exam times; but I love it when I succeed in any exams.
