We grow up one day and we realize that something is different.
Our parents want to get rid of us to go to a scary place called
school. We lay awake and in the excitement our mind wanders
over and over again and we think these thoughts.

Everyone we grew up with is there.
Learning new things we need to live with.
Everything is all in one room.
Meaningful experiences for all
Encouraging words by teachers and friends
New friends and new schedules
Teachers help us to adjust.
Activities that are fun and not so fun
Recess time canít wait
Youth will be gone before we know it.

September school starts
Challenging math problems
Holidays hooray for the vacations.
Objections to doing homework
Observing, trying to figure out why I am here.
Lunch time-oh those horrible lunches.

We conclude after itís all over that it wasnít so bad and made
us the person we are today. We pass on or knowledge to generations
to come. Our legacy remains a part of the history of that first scool
we attended.

Very true. God bless you.

True words delightfully written. It is indeed a great part of our legacy. We are deeply impressed and long-remember experiences from our early school days and after. It shows how important it is for us as Christians to balance the molding of our children with God's truths and ways, BEFORE they enter the realm of influence by others.

nice how you took it from past to present to future.

Very simple format and sentences... worked very well with your theme. Thanks!

Our elementary school experiences can last for a lifetime. How we handle them is so important. God's blessings.
