Little eyes lovingly stare up at you...
Eager to learn what you say and do.

Teach all the children how to listen and pray
Pray for His guidance in what you do each day.

Love one another; love your neighbor next door,
Not for a moment, but for every moment more.

Next time you like into your child’s eyes,
Tell them about the Creator of the skies.

Love Lord Jesus with your entire mind.
Show others how not to be left behind.

Show them how to place Jesus in their heart
Instill what you know, before you depart.

Smile, celebrate, laugh, and sing...
For in Christ, we have a new beginning!

Deuteronomy 11:19
Teach them to your children, talking about them
when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.

sometimes it is a very scary slap of reality when we think about the responsibility entrusted to us to teach kids.

I love that verse, too. One of my favorites. Nice poem with truth and inspiration. Good job.

A beautiful poem. Inspires us in the many ways to teach a child and show them God's love. Well written. God bless you in your writing.
