O God, my son will one day face peer pressure
When he goes to day care
Or Kindergarten or Nursery school
I pray that he will not be a peer pressure fool

O God, please guard his heart and life
And let you and I be his examples
To deter him from violence, cigarettes, drugs and alcohol
I pray he will be strong and never want to sample

O God, please enable me to lead, protect
And warn my son
Of the devils disguise
And of his peers deception and lies

O God, please protect my son
Thank you God, the Almighty One

Praying for our children is our best weapon! Don't ever stop! Good job on this poem.

It's the best gift you can give your child - your prayer to God for him.
Marcell Billinghurst07/18/04
A very good prayer for your child. One many parents should embrace. Well done.
