Rest Finally

Driving for miles and miles in the desert of Arizona. My car is over heating, my water bottles
are all empty and I was gripped with fear of braking down in the middle of no where.
There were no gas stations or stores in sight anywhere. My cell phone has no service and I am trying to reach my destiny. My heart is pumping fast and I am afraid.

The thought of getting stuck out in the middle of no where just blew my mind and I was
freaking. The thought of dying in the desert and no one would find me and that I would get eaten by buzzards and lizards and lord knows what else. I was sweating and looking out my window
and some sort of birds were flying towards my car. "Oh my gosh, those birds are heading right towards my car". I hear plump, plump, plump on the hood and top of my car. One bird
flew in right next to me and I am freaking out and swinging my arm to keep it away from me.
The bird attacked my right arm and I am driving all over the road with my left arm.

"Oh my gosh more birds are coming towards my car". "I am going to die". My heart was pumping so fast and I was wet with sweat and blood all over my arm.

I woke up! And realized this was only a dream. It took me hours to unwind from this dream and
finally I got some real rest.

My cell phone has no service and I am trying to reach my destiny - now this would make a great devotional thought!

not spending any time with God in prayer and trying to find our destiny!

I know that wasn't where you were going with this piece, but that is what hit me when I read that line.

Scary dream! I noticed that you were switching tenses from present tense to past tense throughout the piece. it was a minor irritation.
