He rest not.

Imagine if you prayed to the Lord and his reply was I have too much going on right now I need to rest. Could you check back with me in a couple of months…would you be willing to wait? What if it was a big emergency that needed taken care of right away, time was important. Thank the stars above that our Lord has time for us anytime of the day or night. He would never tell us to come back later or leave a message on his answering machine.

In order to become more like the Lord we need to open our hearts to all of Gods children in the way he opens his heart to us. We need to learn to put the feeling of others first, not second to our own wants or desires. We need to walk in the footsteps of God not man.

What if it was your own flesh and blood a child, a brother could to tell them you did not have time for them? Try you back another time. God has an open door policy we need to follow his lead. It is better to follow than lead we are less likely to get into trouble that way. Follow no man or woman follow God.

Judy,
I loved the premise. I think you started off strong. I would have added a comma after the word now, so it reads - "too much going on right now, I need to rest."

This sentence needs a new entry "What if it was your own flesh and blood a child, a brother could to tell them you did not have time for them?" It just doesn't flow well, or reade very well.

Don't become frustrated by nitpicking; I only do so because I think this article has great potential.

One more thing; I would have used a comma after "Follow no man or woman" and before "follow God." or maybe a semicolon. Follow no man or woman; follow God.

I would try a rewrite on this.

God Bless.
Sincerely,
Dan Blankenship

it is hard to imagine a God who never sleeps or slumbers but He dwells in perfect rest.
