The evening fades with a gorgious display of colors on the blanket of clouds sitting on the horizon.

The beauty of such a sunset is truly one of Gods greatest gifts. It is free for all to view, yet so many seldom take a moment to notice it. I, myself, not only notice them, but allow them to enter my heart and soul while hearing the gentle whispers of God as the evening breeze caresses nature into song.

With this setting sun, the year will become a memory. The beauty of nature is unseen to many as they hurry through the streets to purchase the beverages they feel will bring happines and joy to their lives as they join their friends and family in celebration.

As evening shadows fade to darkness, laughter can be heard as the memories of the passing year are shared. Resolutions are made in hopes of making a better year. With dreams of tomorrow filling their minds, the bottled spitits fill their veins.

Thoughts are altered in the haze of drunkenness as the lively party begins its countdown to the final moments of yesterdays dreams. Moments of this nature have brought forth heartaches and pain from arguements and fights, to loss of life as the " Oh I'm Fine.I can drive home." partier makes his exit onto the city streets.

Imagine the New Years resolutions we might have heard if for only a brief moment, A beautiful setting sun had caught the attention of everyone and the world could see and hear the messages God gives us daily through nature. Happy New Year !!!
