Almighty God ,
I heard you call-
my ears unstopped by grace.
You saved me from eternal wrath.
and shone me The Holy place.
You've kept me through adversity.
and blessed me beyond desire.
I begged you to lift me out of myself
The power of Your love took me higher.

Now i stand in Your strength
in the light of Your love
where darkness can touch me not.
My prayers for a just and ancient cause
where victorious battles
in You are fought.

The power of Your love
has healed my wounds
and opened up my eyes.
May Your will be my own, Father God,
for i hear your children's cries.
And
i am broken again.
Keep me mourning for the lost.
Lead me into the gap
for the sake of Your cross.

i am not my own
nor do i long to be.
Mighty King, for the captive soul
my own has been redeemed.

Here i am
not even i,
but Your Spirit in this tent,
shining out into the darkness
for the veil is ever rent.

i am broken
not forsaken.
Poured out on hard, parched land.
Use me unto death, Lord,
my life is in Your hands.

You knew me and You loved me
You sealed me in the Son
now, here i am
by the power of Your love
to serve
until the day is done.

Beautifully written. Powerful. It touched my heart. I particularly liked the lines:
"I begged You to lift me out of myself" and "The power of Your love took me higher"

Nice job.

I truely enjoyed your poem esp. the last verse the words "You sealed me in the Son","by the power of your love"
Thank you for the blessing.
