Resurrection Power
His spirit lives within,
The same one that raised Him.
To help me conquer sin.
Even now, He raises dead things.
Calls the sinner home,
Redeems the lost,
Reveals things to His own,
Many fail to understand His power.
Living with doubt and fear,
Oppressed by the Devil,
Taken captive by him at his will,
Never knowing the power of God lives within,
All it takes is the mere mention of His name,
Satan has no choice but to let go.
Claiming His promises in daily life,
Faith like a mustard seed moves mountains,
Tears down the walls of sin,
Causes us to rise above trials and troubles,
With our eyes on Jesus,
Our hearts cannot be contained,
We can raise the standard.
Realizing our faith gives us victory,
Makes us more than conquerors,
Nothing in this life can take hold,
That in His name we cannot defeat.
Once we discover our new position,
Understand our authority in Him, over sin,
We live with His resurrection power.
