While I was house sitting for a friend, whose live close by to the Sutton River. In an area where many things are going on. Sometimes people live in a remote setting, to get by with a wild nature within in their hearts. Some run wild run free attitude, some having no regard for others properties or belongings. I have the numbers of many friends and family, to contact in case of any emergencies. Even among this wilderness area I can feel the presence of the Lord at work. Daily I have my devotions and prayers to guide and protect me in these surroundings. I can feel the living water of the word ,flowing through my body. Rejuvenating my spirit ,and bring the calm water within me. There is an awesome power, from the living water of Jesus Christ. Each day I’m house sitting, this gives plenty of time to delve into the living water of the word. There is something so wonderful about house sitting for someone. It allows a person a time to reconnect with their loved ones.
I was studding the chapter of (John 4:7-15 NIV) about Jesus when he talks with Samaritan women at the well. How this a blessed life gift, in the caption it states God’s grace through Christ. Jesus gave life and gave it freely the living water. Then it mentions the depth of a well in that area. Around the fourteenth century was about 100 ft, deep. When the present well was cleaned out in 1935, it was found to be 138 ft. deep. What an amazing thing to witness. In (verse 14) it speaks of the welling up meaning “leaping up”. Jesus was speaking of vigorous and abundant life. Reading the captions give a condensed version of each scripture passage. This has help give a better understanding of each passage. As the story of the Samaritan women, coming to the well to draw water. Not knowing what profound changes would be taking place in her life, while going to the well. While the disciples were in town buying some food, Jesus was sitting near the well to ask the Samaritan women for water. She was very puzzled you being a Jew, and me being a Samaritan women, how can you ask me for a drink. In (verse 10) Jesus says to her, if you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. In (verse 11-12) her comment was you having nothing to draw from, and the well is deep. She was still puzzled at this event taking place on this day. In (verse 13-14) He answered-Everyone who drinks from this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst. Indeed the water I give will become in him a spring of water welling up eternal life. In (verse 15) she asks to be given this water so she will never thirst again.
As I was taking in this pristine beauty of the artic wilderness, and letting the living water of the word flow though me. I have experienced the water, of grace running through followed by the water of serenity. Energizing me spirit which has been much needed. I can get a different perspective on my life’s course. This has been great to take some time from my home renovation, which is moving along very nicely. I have been reading through the chapter of (John 7:37-38) on the greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. What a dynamic message to behold for the people. In (verse 38) whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water, will flow from within him. So whenever my soul is feeling parched and needing water. I shall tap into the water of Jesus Christ living water of his word. To allow my spirit to be refreshed and brought to complete state of wellness. What a great way to be unfilled on this life’s journey, with the living water of Jesus Christ word. This is one well that shall never run dry for me. Daily I pray that this water of the living word. Will flow all across our vast lands, to renew all people and places, and things that are in need of this water. That my time on this earth, will this of sharing the water of the living word. To all weary travelers who are in a life drought. Love and life blessings to each and every one of you. May this water be overflowing throughout all of this world’s time?
