• “Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.’” (John 7:37 NIV)

• “Knowing that all was now completed…Jesus said, ‘I am thirsty.’” (John 19:28 NIV)

Thirsty…looking…longing
For You.
This is a dry and weary place;
No water;
Feeling faint—desperate even.

I am satisfied,
When I remember You;
I meditate on You.
Your love is amazing;
It is better than life.

I can’t help but praise You.
I follow hard after You,
Clinging closely to You.
I will never—
Never let You go.

Thirsty…looking…longing
For me!
You long to be gracious to me.
You take great delight in me.
You loved me before the world began.

You are satisfied.
You can see the fruit
Of the travail of Your soul.
For the joy set before You,
You endured the cross.

You deserve all my praise.
Worthy is the Lamb
That was slain.
Able to save to the uttermost,
You will never let me go.

It is nice to know that we can go to Him and not thirst any longer. Great Job

This reads almost like a Psalm in some places. Well done.

this could be a song
