On yesterday evening my husband verbally attack and I attacked back. The sad thing was that it was in front of the kids. I needed some water to turn down the heat of the situation. The water I'm talking about is Jesus.
My father-in-law cursed me out because I made a mistake. I needed some water and I'm talking about Jesus. Water is good for the body and when a person is thristy, it quenches a person's thrist when it is taken. I hear people say that they don't drink water. I hear them say that I will drink a soda because I drink water. Yeah, that's how we do with Jesus, sometimes we take him and other times we don't want him. Yet overall, Jesus is much better for us. Today, I'm hurting, I'm emotionally divorced from my husband, and my kids are all confused, but I had to recognized that I need water and that water is Jesus.

When we allow the Lord's rivers of living water to enter our lives it has the ability to quench our thirst AND to heal our hearts. I pray that He bring healing and restoration to your life and your marriage. This must've been very difficult to share. You will be in my prayers.

yep, we are so picky about Jesus...and so not-picky about other stuff. We need to remember what we really need.
