In the distance I sense a waterfall
It thunders volumes of refreshing possibilities
Every drop a testimony that quenches my thirst
I look to the inviting cascade
I see the journey is effortless
All I need do is ask

The waterfall calls my inner man
It bubbles deliciously for my nourishment
All I need do is ask

I yearn deeply within to be filled
With water that leaves me eternally sated
To drink from a source that never runs dry

I simply yearn and genuinely I am within the waterfall
I cry out in joy
As I am bathed by Jesus pureness
I feel cleansed and immensely grateful
For I know I have done nothing to deserve this experience

Yet here I am drenched
Till my pores are overflowing
Soaked with joy
Immersed in forgiveness
Forever submerged in a cascade of Love
Internally saturated by a permanent tenant
He never leaves
Cleaves to one even such as I

I cease to think of my own accord
A cessation that brings me to a place of peace
As I submit to the mystery of this pealing cascade
Engulfed in its sheer magnitude
As I am reduced to nothing
Daunted by lavish grace

What beautiful and powerful words of encouragement and clarity.

I particularly enjoyed the line, "Forever submerged in a cascade of Love".

Whenever I stand by a waterfall, I realize just how small I am. Yet, I am drawn to them. They nurture a part of my heart that sometimes gets ignored.

Beautifully written.

I could picture a waterfall from your words, and much more - that refreshing that comes from being with Jesus.
