Waters of Life

We are in water from the time of birth,
Encircled by waters on this beautiful Earth.
Water pours down from the Heavenly Skies.
Watery tears run down from my eyes.

Water is sought after from the Holy Fountain.
As we faithfully journey from mountain to mountain.
A refreshing drink yearned by a thirsty soul
will miraculously make us spiritually whole.

From great solid rock, water had poured,
at the holy command of our great Lord.
Only God holds the Spiritual power
to provide water to every tree and flower.

When you need to quench your thirst
Ask in prayer to Lord Jesus first.
His water will save you from wicked strife
As He washes your soul from the Waters of Life.

Waters were used in the time of The Flood.
God has turned water into both wine and blood.
When Heaven's rains gently touch your face,
Pray God will cleanse you with His saving grace.

Julie, It is interesting how water is such an integral part of our lives from beginning to end, physical to spiritual. I would suggest you watch your point of view. You switched from 'we' to 'me' to 'you'. Good work.

Nicely done.

There is a lot in that s poem. The organisation of the lines seemed to be to be like random thoughts. I think I would have tried to put it a linear sequence to it somehow.
