OK, my mouse is hovering over the VOTE FOR THIS ENTRY button, but I know I have to read ALL the entries!

I really enjoyed this one. You captured the heart of a child so well. Well done.

Beautifully written. Children truly are gifts from God to us. When they give from the heart, from the smallest little, freshly picked weed to the awesome gifts made by their stubby little hands, we feel so proud. Thank you for sharing your little gift with us.

A wonderfully written story. It captures the heart.

WOW! The whole essence of our life in Christ. I hope you keep this written down somewhere and when Christian is older...let him read these words.

I felt the excitement you must have felt when he gave you the gift. it is a positive piece of work that leaves a warm feeling, that the world isn't so bad after all.

would agree with Lissa M. Lee as well as Melanie Kerr
what a cute story, and boy can I relate... as I can get super proud of my grandkids.
A gift from GOD.
and what a gift GOD given us as HE went to that cross and how you relate the 2 was wonderful.
thanks for sharing this with us.
GOD BLESS

So precious they are! My grandson, seeing I had not worn my gold chain and gross said..."you forgot Jesus Gramma!?....Can't forget Jesus." I agreed and make sure I wear that necklace everyday. The cross ...what power and love ...very warm, genuine nicely written piece. thank you - truly enjoyed it

That was great. I have a 4 year old daughter... it's easy to get not stop & give her the attention she needs. I'm working on that. She too knows the cross is something very special and it's so sweet when she notices them everywhere (churches, lower case "t"'s or two pieces of anything that can make a cross) kids are such a blessing!
