he shall come to give you
this world for a song,
beware of foolish pride,
for with it stand alone

he comes in peace with
teeth of a lion,
claiming to be God
atop of Mt. Zion,

Know his true motive is to destroy your soul,
his false shepherds are wolves
wearing priests robes

Such pride has man
heed not such lies,
yet by the True Word of God
shall our soul survive!

so easy to be deceived by lies from wolves unless we know the word.

Powerful. Nicely done.

I have NO ability to critique your art form, poetry, but the words "melt" into a word picture for me. Achieved a very nice balance without overdoing it with excess stanzas.

this poem was easy to read and get the point, where so many other poems are not this way for me.
YOU did a good job of blending the story in a poem.
