God will open some doors and some doors He will close,
Where these doors lead, you may not always know.
God changes the doors of our lives for different reasons,
Some doors He will open for only a very short season.
You may never know why he changes your direction,
Sometimes He changes it because we need correction.
Some Christians are stronger than their sisters and brothers,
And God will send them through doors so they can help others.
Whatever doors God may open or the direction of your life,
There is a reason for you to endure the suffering and strife.
We cannot always be on the mountaintop and enjoy only good,
Always do your best and live your life as you know you should.
God opens up doors for each of us to walk through,
He directs our paths and His word is always true.
Where others fail, He will always stand strong,
When God opens a door, He will not lead you wrong.
