HOPE
(HEAVENS OPENED PORTALS ETERNAL)

Hope, the only word wherein lies peace
When everything fails, donít give up the fight
When our day is dark as night
Remember, Hope brings the morning light
A new day is dawning and
You must rest under the shelter of his wings!

My hope is in you, Oh Lord, my shield, my fortress,
What or who can I fear?
Though the enemy beats me down,
My tears worship the ground,
Peace cannot be found,
Then, I pick up my sword and shield
My hands grope for the alter horns,
My prayers have reached the throne
Iíve entered your GRACE
The enemy cannot reach this place

The blood of Jesus runs like a river
My soul soaks up the source
And covers me with love
My hope lies eternally soaked in the blood of the Lamb!

I thank you Jesus for your love
I thank you Jesus for the gift of life
I thank you Jesus that all my hope lies in you
I thank you Jesus for making me over
Now I am brand new!!

I thank you Jesus for saving my soul
When I was only ten years old
It was then that you taught me
And now I know that
My soul is now at rest in hope eternal!
