I remember so well over twenty years ago of not having any purpose in my life. Life basically was mundane and had no meaning - until I met Jesus.
To say that he has given me Hope, is an understatement.
For sometime, I couldn’t figure out for the life of me, why material things, a husband and children did not bring me fulfillment. I had a well paying job, I was in perfect health, but something was missing. I had no clue what it was!
I truly believe that God allows us to go through some valley experiences, until we realize that we need to put our hope and our trust in Him.
No matter what I did, that void would not leave. Then one day; the day that will be etched in my mind forever; I knew without a shadow of a doubt when the Lord Jesus Christ began to fill that void; my life began to take a turn to a wonderful place of rest.
Of course the storms come, but if I keep my anchor in the Lord, then all fear disappears and I can go on, because I know he sustains me in the midst of storms.
I think of the song, My hope is in you Lord, my strength is in you Lord, who better to put my hope and trust in?
