My Captain is a soldier who fights with the men at war
My Captain is a doctor that cures the sick and poor
My Captain is with us always,
throughout every single day
I pray He will never leave us,
for then we will have to pay.
I wrote this poem in 5th grade when I realized two things: I loved God and loved writing about God.

I am a registered respiratory therapist and have practiced in the medical field for over 30 years now.
I am married 28 years, and have three beautiful children.
I have always enjoyed writing as a hobby, especially children's stories.
At this time in my life, I feel God is directing me to write to inspire others to find their way to Him.
