Writing has always been the God-given creative force that continually burns within my heart and soul.There is no doubt that God has given me a desire to exhort and encourage those whom I come in contact with. It is my belief that every ending brings a new beginning and it is that joy and hope that I desire to share with people everywhere.

Born in the heart of Texas and raised on ranches, I am literally drenched in the history of the working cowboy and the simple West Texas way of life. My daddy was a cowboy from my earliest memories until the day he died. My favorite playground growing up was under the chuckwagon tent where the old black wood stove baked up those yummy sourdough biscuits. It is this era of time which I have used as subject matter for much of my writings and poetry. It was in my high school years that I discovered inspirational and humorous writing was as much a part of me as eating and sleeping. I often kept a tablet and pen at my bedside for those midnight moments of inspiration. Over the years I have written cowboy poetry, spiritual poetry and also short stories on the lives and victories of people around me. Humorous pieces and a manuscript to help people heal who are divorced are also part of my work. I founded, edited and published my own Christian newspaper for four years. I am the mother of two beautiful Christian daughters, one of which is also a writer and four absolutely amazing grandchildren!!
