I am a widow living in a retirement village in Florida with my cat 'Jewely' for companionship.
Life as I have lived it has given me a vast amount of resources. I would be willing to try anything once. Let me warn you, though. My writing is not from books. What you see is what you get.

My late husband John and I came to Florida from western Pennsylvania on our honeymoon in 1983, and stayed here. I only recently made writing a full time endeavor. However, I have been writing a general interest column 'Fredas Foibles' for our weekly newspaper for about 15 years. I am happy to share the column with anybody who requests it and provides me with a working email address. Any time you want your name removed you can let me know, and it will be done pronto.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- I had a story "It Was A Beautiful Day Until..." published in Heartwarmers of Spirit in 2001. It is the story of a motorcycle accident that John and I had previous to our marriage.
- God has seen fit to let me live to age 70. I also have Him to thank for my continued good health, even though I move slower but that way I have few accidents.
- I have just received word from Publish America they have agreed to publish my book "Cherish the Past". It will be another year before it's available for sale, but I just had to brag a bit. After all, it is my first book.
