I'm a pastor's wife, stay at home mom, and mother of three. I've been teaching and writing the lessons for the 8-12 yr old Sunday School class for a number of years now. I also write and preach detailed sermons twice a month alongside my husband. I am a recent graduate of Longridge Writers Group and look forward to a career of freelancing.

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. As a child, writing was an escape from my painful childhood. I entered into recovery in my late teens after making some very poor choices in life. I learned the hard way that the only way to true peace is through Jesus and the gift of salvation. I completed several courses including the 12 Steps Spiritual Journey (focus on depression) and The Anger Workbook which I would later co-faciliate. I've also co-facilitated a women's abuse class and worked through the book, "The Wounded Heart" by Dr. Dan B. Allender. I met my husband during this time and we were married after a few short months. I joined Long Ridge and decided that I desperately wanted to pursure a career, sharing with the world this gift that God has given me. Because of my upbringing, battles with depression, and all the recovery work I've done, my main focus has been to minister to women who are hurting. When I'm not writing I enjoy singing on the worship team, shopping, and reading. I'm also a huge Third Day fan and I love listening to their music when I'm having a bad day.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Completed the 12 Step Spiritual Journey workbook in 2000. Immediately following, I completed the Anger Workbook.
- I've been featured in my local newspaper, The Antioch Press.
- My poem, "The Cave" was published in the small print magazine, Safe Treasures.
