to repeat this life,
with hope
of repairing my inner strife,
without memory,
to have to come again,
to repair my previous life’s sin.
What agony, attempting
to pay my life’s debt,
through endless cycles
of failures and regret,
to repeatedly repeat,
my primal pain,
with no perception
of regress or gain,
and maybe
in the process become
animal—or worse,
chained to myself
without ever realizing
my own curse!
And what about Christ,
where would He fit in,
as I attempt to absolve myself,
life after life,
again and again?
What philosophized madness
could conclude,
that time teaches mankind,
sin to elude?
Hellish too,‘twould be
to know,
this life’s misery and woe,
is punishment
for deeds,
wrong planted seeds,
done by my soul
with me unaware,
and deprived of control!
What kind
of abstract reasoning
could declare,
that unfairness
to possibly be fair?
Oh yes, I want to live again,
and evolve
to a better me,
than ever has been,
an impossibility
through
repetitive treks on earth,
possible only
through Jesus' shed blood,
and my spiritual rebirth.
And one day...not by
reincarnation’s futile recasting,
but by resurrection,
will I be free of sin
everlasting!

This was beyond clever in approach, and unique in the subject at first. I didn't know where it was going to end, and then the explosive and prolific ending appeared, but then it all came together in a dynamic and unforgettable fashion.
