Wow this is as powerful as the storm was. The details and emotions you created in me were outstanding. I hope you are writing this from seeing the storm on TV but I have a feeling it's more through personal experience and if that's the case know I have prayed and will continue to do so. God bless.

CONGRATULATIONS on your E.C. win!! Wonderful writing here--so highly descriptive, such as:
"Unused jars of scented candles
Now lit
Cloaked the darkness with vanilla and jasmine."

Your word choices perfectly portrayed the storm in all its destructive passion. I also loved the beautiful ending and how it tied with the beginning. WAY TO WRITE!! :)
