I loved the story, the flash backs, Cal, Grandpa, Grandma...the whole works. This was a sweet, charming story with a feel-good emotion attached to it.

Once when we lived in cow country my friend's 4 yr old son took a deep whiff of the dairy air (not to be mistaken for a derrière) and said "smells like money!" I think the corn smell of money would be better. ;)

Laury, I'm a sap for grandparent stories. Mainly because I think grandparents can be such a force in the lives of their grandchildren.
