God smiles on his newest child.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
Wait for just a while.â€
“This hurts, God. Can I quit yet?â€
God hugs his little girl.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
You must endure this world.â€
“I’m here, God. Can you tell me yet?â€
God hears the quiet prayer.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
But my answer is coming near.â€
“They’re mean God. Can I run yet?â€
God wipes the tear away.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
Stand firm and do not stray.â€
“I tried, God. Can I give up yet?â€
God sees the unsaved friend.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
Keep loving until the end.â€
“I’m scared, God. Can I hide yet?â€
God sees the wicked men.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
You must be a light for them.â€
“It’s dark, God. Can I sleep yet?â€
God soothes the weary soul.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
My plan will soon unfold.â€
“I’m weak, God. Can I come yet?â€
God cradles the sickened child.
“Not yet, Kate, not yet.
You must walk just one more mile.â€
“I did it God. Can I see you yet?â€
God spreads his arms out wide.
“Yes, Kate, now you may.
Come…leave the world behind.â€

Don't feel bad about the weird characters. The same thing happened to one of my entries last quarter. I don't know what causes that, but I was still able to read this just fine. :)
