My God is
A cloud by day
Leading and guiding,
Protecting His children.

He is the rain cloud
Breaking the drought
Renewing the earth
Making all things new.

He is the sun shining through
Breaking through the storm
Providing the light
And the promise of the rainbow

He is the white cloud
On a fair day
As children look up
With imagination and wonder

He is the new day,
With hopes of new promises.
His mercies are new
Every morning.

My God is
A pillar of fire by night
Leading and guiding,
Protecting His children.

He is the light
Leading us through the night
When we can't see
And hope is lost

He is the peace
Of a quiet night
For the weary and heavy laden
He gives perfect rest.

He is the stars
On a clear, still night
As people look at the constellations
In wonder and in awe.

He is my song
In the night,
My song of peace
In the darkest times

My God is
A cloud by day, a fire by night
And in His word I will meditate
Day and night

This is a beautiful reminder about keeping our chin up and our eyes on the Lord. He is always there.
