I too love to watch the rain, and the sound of rain makes me so relaxed I want to sleep! And there is a sweet freshness in the air after a rain. God’s rain truly brings showers of blessings, whether in the physical or spiritual! Nature certainly does paint us some awesome pictures of God’s endless love and provision! This was a blessing to read. Well done.

As a child who was often unattended, I would play in the summer rain, sometimes for hours. I found it exhilarating and as you said, cleansing. I still love the rain.

This is a beautiful piece that made me want to do it again. I love the reference to the "squirrel tango." Written with genuine feelings and just delightful. Excellent writing here.

Absolutely lovely! This article brought me back to childhood and the fragrant summer rains that i loved so much. However, when one lives in a monsoon region, rainy days are not at all pleasant; I'd forgotten what a rainy day could be. Thank you for reminding me of the peace and beauty of a rainy day. Ours are tormentuous, nearly impossible to walk along our path for the filthy flood a rain brings. All of us, including the playful monkeys, rejoice when the rain stops and the sun breaks through to warm us while drying us all out. I've enjoyed reading this idyllic scene, reminiscent of my childhood in the rural USA. Thanks for a terrific job!
