Worship the Lord with gladness;
Come before him with joyful songs.

The echoes of creation pound through
Our spirits. Drawing and wooing us
To the beautiful Truth.
Words change, but the
Message remains the same
Pulsing through the ages
Declaring the wonders of God.
Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his
Holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.

Styles shift and evolve. The great debate
Change or stay stuck in the past
But does the meaning really change?
Bang the drums! Strike the harps!
Make a joyful noise onto the Lord!
Put aside the strife and division
That lingers between generations
Sing to him a new song;
Play skillfully, and shout for joy.

Our praises repeat throughout the earth
Devotion and adoration building
Into a symphony of every language
Repeating and declaring promises.
Raise your voice, lay claim to the
Inheritances that we have been promised.
Never forgetting the repeating praise to our King
Shout for joy to God,
All the earth!

God bless~

This really makes me think...is this how I praise God? I sing, for sure (very badly, though). I lift my hands. But there is a wild abandoness implied in your piece, and in the verses referenced. When did I last praise God with that kind of energy? When I left it all on the altar? I'm sad to say that I don't know. Ask me again tomorrow.

Great job to make me really think about how I praid Him. Thanks!

This is so lovely. I'm often guilty of not reading the title before I read the piece. In this case, foe me at least the title gave it an additional boost at the end. I could feel my brain going ahhh-haaaa as the smile crept across my face.
Congratulations for ranking 35 overall!
