Priceless. I loved the launching mothership and the cocoa nimbus. And the epitaph was the perfect ending. My only reservation with any otherwise wonderful story is that I wasn't familiar with all the Zoolander allusions. Great stuff
I bet with that epitaph Gramma rolled over in her grave! Haha! Poor Gramma. Wonderful story.

Very funny! Good job. (I had a grandmother who probably would have keeled over if I had ever ended a sentence with "at". She'd be shocked at how it has inserted its ungrammatical self into our language and is embraced with such devotion). :0)

Congratulations on your EC. This was such a fun read, with great characters. I was a bit taken aback at the change of tone when Gran died, but you finished it off perfectly (and humouresly) with the epitaph. Creative & unpredictable - excellent!
