Ouch!
Have you seen 'Keeping up appearances?' Geranium reminds me very much of Hyacinth Bucket.
A fun read - now I'm just off to dust my skirting boards.

LOL ... somehow I can hear this voice, "said Geranium in an octave that caused dogs to cower" and see this "Penguin-walked to the table".. I WANT TO MEET THIS LADY :) Brilliant writing! Love this! *hoping I don't resemble her too much*

Wonderful - is this on the Tellie somewhere??? If so, it cannot be missed. Clever, dry and oh so British. Brilliant.

Hilarious! Even though I usually find "British comedy" an oxymoron, I still grinned like a bloomin' idiot at this delightful story.

Definite echoes of Hyacinth Bucket. I liked the bit where she kicked the mackeral under the fridge - finding fish in obscure places!

Oh my, how I LOVE this clever comedy! And it captures British humor so well. Great job.

SO clever, and so funny - and, of course, SOOO British!! This must have been loads of fun to write! A delightful read!
Clever, clever irony in this rollicking story.

This was all kinds of genius, and I loved it. Hilarious!

Wow, I can hear Hyacinth Bucket (that's "BOUQUET"!!!) all through this delightful piece! You have captured the self-centered, social climbing, snobbish, silly persona perfectly!! As the credits roll, I am chuckling and clapping! :)
Interesting name-Geranium. I kept thinking of flowers the entire time. I loved Humphrey's reading of the survey and her responses. This was great.

LOVE this! My favorite TV shows are all British television. Such droll humor! This captures it wonderfully. (:

This is very funny, and so clever. Great job with the topic.

I guess I don't watch enough British comedy....I'm sure you must have nailed it. :)
