Motherís arms
Fatherís lap
the kitchen table
the dining room table
the front yard to play
the back yard to play
the basement
the attic
the dog

seeing dust mites floating in the air glowing in the sunlight
seeing mom and dad kiss
seeing them laughing together
seeing them tease each other
seeing mom cooking
seeing dad working on the yard and car
seeing television together
seeing dad put his arm around mom

Home is where real love is
Home is where our loved ones are
Home is where a loved one waits for you
Home is peace
Home is joy
Home is safety
Home is rest
Home is warmth in winter
Home is cool in summer
Home is music, and prayer, and praise, and appreciation
Home is where hurts can be kissed away and tears forgotten

the bed is home
the couch is home
the bath tub is home
the fireplace is home
the cooking stove is home
the kitchen sink filled with dishes is home
the stuffed full garage is home
the Christmas tree
the Easter baskets,
the big cross on the living room wall
the small cross on the bedroom wall
the prayer before meals
the prayers before sleep
the gathering together for church

All are home

House? What House?
What street?
Where?

Home is truly where the heart is

Love the look of this entry especially - and the tiny flashes of "home" throughout. Nicely done!

I definitely see a home here.
