In the beginning was the Word
and God was the Word
and the Word issued forth
from the Godhead
and God said, and
all things were made
by him.

The sound of creation,
the sound from God,
and darkness gave way
to light.

The vibrations,
the molecules,
the waves, the particles
the tone, the sound,
the pitch, the shape
raced out into the
nothingness
and created the universe.

A singularity of creation,
galaxies, stars, planets,
quarks, protons, neutrons,
leap into existence at
the sound from God.

And vibrate

At the tune,
the melody,
the music of creation
the Word of God.

Reflected in,
the music of the spheres,
the harmony of the human body,
the octave of creation,
the melody of Godís love.

Repeated by the choir
of angels,
emulated by the
chorus of man

The sounds,
the instruments of music,
human voices raised in harmony
and praise singing
the psalms, the hymns,
and making melody
in their heart,
to echo,
their love
for the Lord.

This one sort of pulled me along...almost as if a soft, instrumental melody was playing in the background somewhere. I liked the allusions to musical terminology, too. :-)

Obviously written by a musician--this has a lovely musical quality--the words and the rhythms perfectly reflect the content. Everything a poem should be.

Very well written. I really enjoyed this. I loved the second paragraph most. The tiniest of details, all somehow involved in the great beginning of creation. Cool!

Oooops! I guess I meant third paragraph. Well written poem.
