I am God, and there is no other.
I make known the end from the beginning
I made garments of skin and clothed Adam and Eve.
I shut the door to the ark once Noah and his family were safe inside.
I didn’t let the Israelites shoes wear out for forty years
while they wandered in the desert.
When Moses died, I buried him.
I sit enthroned above the circle of the earth.
People look like grasshoppers.
I have ten thousand times ten thousand chariots.
I set up kings and depose them.
Nations are like a drop in the bucket to me.
The flesh counts for nothing.
You are the clay. I am the potter.
You are a mist, a vapor, a breath, a shadow,
a flower that withers, a passing breeze.
Why do you worry
about what you will eat, or drink, or wear?
Look at the birds of the air.
They don’t sow or reap, or store away in barns, yet I feed them.
I clothe the grass of the field with lilies
so beautiful that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like them.
I command lightning to strike its mark.
My thunder announces the coming storm.
I cut a channel for torrents of rain
I scatter the winds over the earth.
I bring forth the constellations in their seasons.
I lead out the bear with its cubs.
I call each star by name.
Because of my great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.
I whistle for flies and bees.
From the east I summon a bird of prey,
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that will I bring about.
What I have planned, that will I do.
I tell the sun and the moon
when to come at their appointed times.
The same for the seasons, seedtime and harvest.
I have no need of a bull from your stall,
or of goats from your pens,
for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
I know every bird in the mountains,
and the creatures of the field are mine.
If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the
world is mine, and all that is in it.
.
I know when the mountain goats give birth.
I listen to the young lions roar for their prey.
I watch as the doe bears her fawn.
I made the sea teem with creatures, great and small.
They all look to me to give them their food at the proper time.
The battle is mine.
The struggle is against the rulers, the authorities, the powers
of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces
of evil in the heavenly realms.
You just need to put on my full armor.
Tell the truth. Do what is right.
Be at peace. Have faith.
Obey me. Study my Word. Pray.
Become like little children.
Believe what I tell you.
Be curious about the beauty of my creation.
Be joyful, giggle, belly-laugh.
Live in the present moment.
Run, skip, hop, sing, dance.
Tell others what I’ve done,
that a generation yet unborn may praise me.
